Creme de Menthe Brownies


1 C Oat Flour

¾ C Cocoa Powder

½  tsp Salt

1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder

¼  C Coconut Oil

½ C 100% Pure Maple Syrup

½ C Unsweetened Applesauce

⅓ C Dark Chocolate Chip (melted) 

2 Eggs 

1 tsp 100% Pure Vanilla Extract

For the Mint Filling

¾ C Coconut Oil

¼ C  + 2 Tbsp. 100 % Pure Maple Syrup

2 tsp. Mint Extract

¾  tsp. (use Code SABDOW for 10% Off)

For the Chocolate Layer

1 C Dark Chocolate Chips (about 6oz)

¼ C Hot Water


Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 2: Combine brownie ingredients in a bowl, mixing until smooth.

Step 3: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes (or until an inserted toothpick is clean and brownies spring back in center). Allow to cool, completely.

Step 4: In a smaller bowl, mix together the mint filling.

Step 5: Spread the mint filling over the brownies and place the brownies in the fridge for 1 hour (or until set and firm).


Step 6: Make the chocolate layer. Add chocolate chips and tsp. Coconut oil to a sauce pan and place that pan into a large pan of hot water (you can alos use the microwave). Allow chips to melt.

Step 7: Pour the melted chocolate over the firm mint layer and refrigerate, again, until the chocolate layer is set.

Step 8: Enjoy!
