Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies with Chickpeas (GF)
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F
Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl and set aside
1 (15 oz) Can Chickpeas (Rinsed and Drained)
¾ C Cocoa Powder
½ C 100% Pure Maple Syrup
⅓ C Almond Butter
¼ C Water
1½ tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Salt
1 C Dark Chocolate Chips
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Place all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor and blend until batter is creamy and smooth.
Step 3: Stir chocolate chips into the batter by hand. Scoop dough onto the prepared cookie sheets. You can use a fork to flatten the cookies. They will not flatten while baking.
Step 4: Bake for 18-20 minutes.
