Sweedish Apple Pie


4 Large Apples (Peeled and Sliced)

¼ C Coconut Oil

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 Tbsp. Coconut Sugar

1 C Coconut Sugar

1 Egg

½ C Melted Butter or Vegan Substitute

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 C Almond Flour

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Peel, core, and slice apples.

Step 3: Add coconut oil to a medium skillet and saute apples, cinnamon, and 1 Tbsp. sugar until the apples are soft.

Step 4: Fill a greased pie dish with apple mixture.

Step 5: Beat egg, sugar, butter, and vanilla.

Step 4: Add flour to above wet batter until all incorporated.

Step 5: Pour batter over apples. Be sure not to go to the edge, as the batter spreads and may drip while baking.

Step 6: Bake for 45-50 minutes until the crust is golden brown.

Step 7: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

Step 8: Enjoy!
